JOHANNESBURG FESTIVAL OF WOMEN WRITERS

Being invited to be one of the panelists at the Johannesburg festival of women writer’s inaugural event hosted at the University of Johannesburg Business School was truly an honour and was incredibly affirming.

Sharing my story required ample bravery yet taking the risk of being vulnerable was worth it.

My primary motivation is to give a voice to people like me who are living with mental illness to feel heard and seen from their own perspective.

To have shared this platform with formidable women that I have admired all my life is something that I will treasure for a very long time to come!
